Which Debts can be Included in the Program?

We can accept most types of unsecured debts; all credit cards including department store credit cards, personal loans, medical bills, and accounts with collection agencies. We cannot work with auto loans, mortgages, private student loans, child support, and alimony debts. However, federal student loans may be reduced in other programs.

How long does it take to be Debt Free?

Our average client will be debt free from enrolled debt in as little as 24-48 months. Ideally, most of our programs are designed to have you debt-free in an average of 32 months. The time it takes to clear your debts is mainly dependent on your own financial situation. The more you can save each month, the faster you can pay your debts and be debt free. How much does Consolifi Financial Charge?

Consolifi programs are performance based, which means we do not receive any fees until a settlement has been reached. Upon each account being settled, a fee will be assessed for that settlement. Consolifi offers programs that charge fees as a percentage of savings or as a total percentage of enrolled debt balances. Regardless of which program you enter, you can expect the total fees of the program to range from 20% to 25% of the enrolled debt amount by the time you complete the program.

How does Debt Settlement Reduce my Debt?

Debt resolution companies have working relationships with major creditors and collection companies. Experienced negotiators go through a series of negotiations with the creditors to arrange for your debts to be reduced and paid off. Your creditors would rather settle for a partial payment of the total balance due than risk being paid nothing at all.

Who is Eligible for the Program?

In general, individuals who are in a state of financial hardship. A “hardship” is broadly defined and could be any number of financially damaging events, including loss of employment or reduced income, a divorce, severe medical bills, or a variety of other circumstances that cause someone to accumulate too much debt and lead to an inability to pay his/her bills.

Can I keep my Credit Cards?

In general, you must include all unsecured debt over $500 in our program. All of your cards that we are negotiating must be closed for the program to work. In addition, you cannot apply for further credit or use credit while on the program. The goal of the program is to get you completely out of debt from your enrolled accounts.
